Building Lasting Love

Whether it is your first and only marriage or a subsequent partnership after divorce or widowhood,  we can build relationships that flourish during this season of life. Certainly, this age and stage bring their challenges. It also brings a depth of experience, wisdom, humor, openness, the ability to authentically embrace what matters most, and the resilience to meet life head-on.

Some of the issues we address are how to keep the vitality alive in long-term marriages health-related challenges,  the process of blending families,  issues regarding intimacy, and creating the next steps in life together.

Together we will learn ways to:

Increase awareness,  empathy,  communication, and conflict skills.

Design a vision for rich and meaningful lives.

Build emotional and physical intimacy during this season of life.

Create a strong sense of integrity and courage to face the loss that occurs as one grows older due to health, family stressors, and life’s unpredictability.

Gain connection and community.

We will weave resources from the Gottman Institute,  couples’ thought leaders, and best practices to enhance our work.

My husband Dan Macy, Career Coach offers consultation and guidance on encore career direction and meaningful ways to contribute through volunteer opportunities to inspire.
